Many people seem to think just believing in God or being a “good person” is enough to get them into Heaven. This is not true though.
Mark 7:7 ‘They worship Me in vain [their worship is meaningless and worthless, a pretense],
Teaching the precepts of men as doctrines [giving their traditions equal weight with the Scriptures].’” (AMP)
God wants you to follow His rules, not the flawed ones made by mankind! There is only ONE road to Him…
John 14:6 ” Jesus said to him, “[a]I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (AMP)
Salvation is a gift God gives freely by His grace to anyone with faith in Jesus.
Ephesians 2:5-8 “even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment). 6 And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, 7 [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption]. 8 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;” (AMP)
All you have to do is believe in your heart and speak out loud your faith, and you will be saved.
Romans 10:9 “because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (AMP)
That is all that you need to do to have a close, personal relationship with God and to enter into Heaven. It really is not difficult! Would you like to do this? If so, you can pray this prayer or say your own words.. this one is simply a guide to help get you started…
